How do I find out what my health insurance covers?

You can contact your health insurance provider or check your policy to see if massage therapy is covered.

Two main plans with Southern Cross are:

Wellbeing One or Two - BodyCare Module. $500 per year

Health Essentials plan - 75% of the treatment cost or $250 per year.

What can I claim under Southern Cross with Massage Therapy?

You can claim for any massage session if you have Southern Cross Wellbeing One or Two with the Body Care Module or the Health Essentials Plan up to your annual insurance limit.

 

Are you with Easy-Claim?

Yes. Please let us know via your initial health intake form or send an email that you are a Southern Cross member and we can then process your treatments through Easy Claim.

Do you cover ACC Claims?

No, massage therapy is not covered by ACC.
